Hello everyone!
How's it going?
I hope you all had a fantastic 2018, and I wish you a prosperous year ahead. With the new year comes the anticipation of upcoming festivals like Lohri and Sankranti, which also means the chance to wear new dresses for two consecutive days.
At the beginning of each year, many of us make resolutions, and this year, my resolution is to design my own clothes for all the upcoming festivities. I have decided not to buy any dresses from shops. While it may sound challenging, it's definitely doable.
We all know that traditional outfits are a must for Indian festivals. While searching for the perfect place to shop, I stumbled upon a renowned Dupatta shop in Lajpat Nagar Market, Delhi. It has become my one-stop destination for all my needs. The store offers an extensive collection of Dupattas along with dress material, so you can mix and match different pieces to create your own designer ensemble.
During my visit to the shop, I decided to create a look for Sankranti. For the first time, my eyes were captivated by a stunning parrot green and blue-coloured Dupatta. After purchasing it, I matched it with a beautiful pink kurta.
Clothes only hold significance when they are embraced and worn by someone...
Look at the sheer beauty and elegance of this dupatta. It speaks volumes on its own, which is why I opted to keep my kurta simple, allowing the dupatta to shine. I absolutely adore this attire as it strikes the perfect balance between simplicity and grace, helping me make a style statement. With a pair of earrings, I am fully prepared to rock this Sankranti celebration.
But that's not all. I also paired the same dupatta with another suit. This time, I chose a plain kurta and combined it with the same dupatta, resulting in a stunning and elegant ensemble.
Take a look...
A simple dress will become designer if you feel confident in it...
Wait wait wait...
I haven't finished yet!!!
I completely understand that for a woman, especially a shopaholic like me, it's nearly impossible to leave a store with just one or two dresses...
And guess what? During my shopping spree, my eyes were captivated by this stunning golden-colored dupatta. It's a complete statement piece on its own, simple yet elegant. I can pair it with any contrasting dress, creating a beautiful ensemble. As you can see here, I have matched it with an orange-coloured kurta, and now I'm ready to rock my own unique style.
Now you know exactly where to go to find some incredible collections. For me, it is undoubtedly a one-stop destination for all my fashion needs.
That's all for now, but I will be back soon with my next collection. I would love to hear your thoughts on my looks, so please leave a comment below and let me know.
Till then Tadda and Enjoy...
Thank you
